Recommend a book?

I’m a bit short on books for the summer, so if you want to suggest one for me it would be greatly appreciated ๐Ÿ˜€ย

  1. What kind of books do you enjoy reading? It’s easier to suggest something that you might like if I have an idea of what you like.

  2. “The Crow Road” by Iain Banks
    “Bloodsucking Fiends” by Christopher Moore
“The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins
    Anything by John Green

  3. ‘Bloodsucking Fiends’ by Moore is a good book, actually all three books in the series are fun (the sequels are ‘You Suck’ and ‘Bite Me’). Pretty much anything by Moore is worth reading, I’d say that ‘Lamb’ and ‘Fluke’ are my two favorites of his books.

One of my favorite series of books that I suggest to everyone is the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, a wonderful epic fantasy series with one of the best endings I’ve ever read in fiction.

If you like darker books, check out the book ‘I Am Not a Serial Killer’ by Dan Wells, along with it’s sequels ‘Mr. Monster’ and ‘I Don’t Want to Kill You.’ The quickest and best summary I’ve ever heard for these books is a teenage Dexter in an episode of the X-Files, they’re a lot of fun.

‘Ender’s Game’ and the 10 or so other books in the same world by Orson Scott Card are a lot of fun.

Since I just saw it on my shelf, ‘The Book Thief’ by Markus Zusak was a wonderful book, one of the better books I’ve read for a while.

So there are a few suggestions across a variety of different styles. To be selfish and plug my own blog, I have reviews up for all of those books (with the exception of Ender’s Game, I have reviews for books 2-9 in the series, but I read the first book before I started my blog and haven’t gotten around to re-reading it to post a review of it, but it’s a fantastic book).
